How GTA 6 Cheats Work (Based on Series History)
In GTA 5, cheats were entered via: - Button sequences on controller (D-pad + face buttons) - Phone dial codes (cell phone in-game, dial a number)
GTA 6 will almost certainly use the same phone system — it was the cleaner method and fits the smartphone-era setting. Expect cheats to be entered through Jason or Lucia's in-game phone.
Important: Using cheats typically disables achievements/trophies for that session. Save your game before entering any cheat.
Cheat Categories We'll Cover at Launch
🏥 Player Status
- Restore health and armor
- Raise/lower wanted level
- Invincibility (limited duration in GTA 5 — expect same)
🔫 Weapons
- All weapons
- Infinite ammo
- Explosive rounds / bullets
🚗 Vehicles
- Spawn specific vehicles (sports car, helicopter, tank)
- Bulletproof tires
- Lower gravity / moon physics
🌍 World
- Change weather
- Slow motion / fast forward
- Ragdoll physics toggle
What WON'T Be in GTA 6 Cheats
No money cheat. Rockstar deliberately omitted a money cheat from GTA 5 to protect GTA Online's economy. GTA 6 will do the same. Any post claiming there's a money cheat is fake.
GTA 5 Cheats for Reference (PS/Xbox)
These are what GTA 5 used. GTA 6 sequences will be different but the categories will be similar:
