GTA 6 is set in Leonida — Rockstar's Florida — and the car culture will reflect it: American muscle, luxury imports, lowriders, and the kind of absurd vehicles that only exist in GTA. Here's every vehicle spotted or confirmed so far.
Vehicle list updated as Rockstar reveals more pre-launch. Full database drops November 19, 2026. Not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
Confirmed Vehicles (Spotted in Official Trailers)
Cars
| Vehicle (GTA Name) | Real-World Inspiration | Seen In |
|---|---|---|
| Declasse Tulip | Chevrolet Caprice / Impala | Trailer 2 — Jason's getaway car |
| [More spotted in trailers — expanding as confirmed] |
Boats & Water Vehicles
GTA 6's Leonida Keys setting means significant water gameplay. Trailers show: - Speedboats in the Keys - Airboats through Grassrivers swamp (a new vehicle type for GTA) - Jet skis along Vice City beachfront
Aircraft
- Helicopters visible over Vice City in trailers
- Small aircraft over Leonida airspace
What the Leonida Setting Means for Vehicles
GTA 5's Los Santos had California car culture: supercars, tuner culture, classic American muscle. Leonida/Vice City adds:
Florida-specific additions expected: - More convertibles (open-top culture) - Boat traffic significantly heavier - Golf carts, mobility scooters (retiree Florida jokes incoming) - Monster trucks (rural Leonida / Grassrivers) - ATVs and dirt bikes (Mount Kalaga terrain) - Airboats (confirmed for Grassrivers)
Luxury tier: Vice City's wealth (Ambrosia region) means high-end yachts, exotic cars, and private helicopters will be prominent.
GTA 6 Vehicle Classes (Expected)
Based on GTA Online's established categories, GTA 6 will likely have:
| Class | Examples Expected |
|---|---|
| Super | Top-tier hypercars (GTA's Zentorno equivalent) |
| Sports | Mid-range performance cars |
| Muscle | American V8s, classics |
| Sedans | Everyday cars, getaway vehicles |
| SUVs | Off-road, armored variants |
| Motorcycles | Sportbikes, choppers, dirt bikes |
| Boats | Speedboats, yachts, airboats |
| Helicopters | Transport, military, attack |
| Aircraft | Small planes, jets |
| Special | ATVs, golf carts, amphibious |
The Declasse Tulip: Jason's Car
The most clearly identified vehicle from the trailers. Jason drives a Declasse Tulip — GTA's fictional version of a Chevrolet Caprice or Impala. It's a full-size American sedan: rear-wheel drive, V8-sounding engine, the kind of car that looks slow and isn't.
The choice says something about Jason's character: it's a working-class local's car, not a supercar. It fits his Keys background before Lucia pulls him into Vice City's world.
Vehicle Customization
GTA 5 had LS Customs for vehicle modifications. GTA 6 will almost certainly have an expanded equivalent — new paint options, performance upgrades, custom plates. The Leonida setting might introduce:
- Airboat customization (new to the series)
- Boat shops (given the heavy water content)
- Off-road upgrade shops in rural areas
